Marching Through Time 2021

We had a great time at Marching Through Time at the Ohio History Connection in Columbus, Ohio. It wasn't easy on everyone to be masked all day, but we had a lot of interested patrons, other reenactors, and staff. Highlights included the young lady that learned about the knucklebones and then schooled her dad almost word for word on the challenge. We broke out the gold and silver for gluckhaus and the bobbin lace display and demonstration caught a lot of interest. It was the first outing for the filled globes on the lace making lamp, traveling safely in a bed of excelsior and showing only a slight bit of leaking. Not bad for a first test.

Now it's time to clean the weapons, repair anything needing repaired, and sew a few new bits of apparel. Watch for us next season!
